These Terms govern bookings made by a user (the “User”) for services independently provided by an astrologer listed on Astrouser.com (the “Astrologer”). Astrouser.com is operated by Intellitwine Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Syam Sadan, Domalguda, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, GSTIN 36AAFCI7198P1ZM (the “Platform”).
1. Electronic acceptance
By ticking the checkbox stating “I agree to the above conditions” and then clicking “Consult Now”, or by completing an equivalent explicit affirmative acceptance process, the User confirms having had an opportunity to read these Terms and the Platform's Privacy Policy and agrees to be bound by them. The booking shall not proceed unless the required acceptance is recorded.
The Platform may retain the applicable version of these Terms, date and time of acceptance, User or session identifier, selected Astrologer, selected service, price, tax, and booking reference as evidence of the electronic transaction.
2. Eligibility and authority
The User must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. A person booking for another adult must have that person’s authority to provide the required personal information and obtain the consultation.
Services concerning a minor may be booked only by the minor’s parent or lawful guardian and only where the service is appropriate and lawful.
3. Platform role and selection of astrologer
The Platform enables Users to view listed Astrologers, select an Astrologer, choose a service, make payment, exchange information required for the service, and provide feedback.
The Astrologer provides the consultation independently. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Astrologer is not an employee, agent, partner, or authorised representative of the Platform. The Platform does not prepare, approve, or verify each prediction or opinion given by an Astrologer.
The selected Astrologer is solely responsible for the substance, method, quality, legality, professional conduct, and delivery of the consultation. Seller details required for an informed booking shall be displayed on the Platform or supplied to the User upon a valid written request in accordance with applicable law.
4. Nature and limitations of astrological services
Astrological analysis involves interpretation and opinion. No Astrologer or the Platform can guarantee the accuracy of a prediction or the occurrence or non-occurrence of a future event.
The User must exercise independent judgment. Astrological guidance is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, or investment professional. The User should obtain appropriate professional advice before taking any material decision.
5. Astrological method
The Platform does not require every Astrologer to use the same system unless the booked service expressly identifies a particular system. The User should check the Astrologer’s profile and service description before booking where the choice of method is important.
The Platform promotes Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP Astrology) as a systematic and logical method of astrological analysis. An Astrologer may nevertheless use another method disclosed in the Astrologer’s profile or service description.
6. User information and cooperation
The User must provide complete, accurate, and relevant information and respond within a reasonable time to legitimate requests needed to deliver the service. The Astrologer and the Platform are not responsible for reduced accuracy, delay, or inability to complete a service caused by incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or late information supplied by the User.
The User must not impersonate another person, submit information without authority, misuse the Platform, harass an Astrologer, or request unlawful or prohibited content.
7. Single-question, Horary, and Prasna services
A service described as a single-question, Horary, or Prasna consultation covers one specific and clearly worded question only. The User should provide the relevant background needed to understand that question.
Multiple questions, unrelated issues, or material sub-questions combined into one submission may be declined, limited to the principal question, or treated as separate services requiring separate payment. The Astrologer should inform the User before charging for any additional service.
8. KP number-based consultation
For a KP Number Horary consultation, the User must provide the number required by the selected service while concentrating on the single question to be answered. The User must follow the number range and other instructions stated in the service description.
9. Birth-chart consultation
For a birth-chart consultation, the User must provide the date of birth, place of birth, exact or approximate time of birth, and an honest indication of how reliable the recorded birth time is.
The quality of the analysis depends materially on the accuracy of these details. The Astrologer may state appropriate qualifications where the birth time is approximate or uncertain.
10. Birth-time rectification
For a birth-time rectification service, the User must provide the date and place of birth, available or recorded time of birth, the estimated possible variation from that time, and sufficient accurately dated life events.
Relevant events may include commencement of the first employment or business, marriage, birth of the first child, major relocation, major surgery, or another significant verifiable event. The result remains an astrological opinion and its reliability depends substantially on the correctness and completeness of the information supplied.
11. Booking and payment
The service price displayed by the Astrologer is before GST. Applicable GST or another statutory levy, if any, shall be shown separately and added at checkout in accordance with law. The Platform does not charge the User a separate marketplace or platform fee.
The User must pay the total checkout amount, including applicable tax, in full before the Astrologer is required to accept, commence, or deliver the service. A booking is confirmed only after the Platform records successful payment and, where applicable, the Astrologer accepts the booking.
Any tax or other statutory amount payable by the User shall be clearly displayed before payment. The Platform shall not add an undisclosed charge after payment.
12. Delivery and User confirmation
A service is treated as delivered when the agreed live consultation is completed, or when the agreed report, recording, written response, or other deliverable is made available to the User through the agreed channel.
The User should confirm delivery or raise dispute through the Platform within 72 hours after delivery. A dispute should identify the booked service, the alleged failure or deficiency, and any supporting material reasonably available. If no complaint is received within 72 hours, the service may be treated as accepted for transaction-settlement purposes only.
13. User cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show
A written, recorded, or report-based service is not cancellable after work has commenced. Before commencement, any cancellation right stated at checkout shall apply. The service fee remains eligible for a remedy under the Refunds and service complaints clause where the service is not delivered or is materially deficient.
For this purpose, work is treated as commenced when the Astrologer accepts the booking and accesses the User's substantive birth details or question, or begins analysis, whichever occurs first. No separate cancellation charge is imposed; these provisions determine only whether the paid service fee is refundable.
For a scheduled live consultation, the User may cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund, or request one rescheduling without additional charge. A cancellation made less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time is non-refundable; however, the User may request one rescheduling before the appointment time, subject to the Astrologer’s reasonable availability.
If the User does not attend or remains unavailable for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time without prior notice, the User shall be treated as a no-show and the service fee shall be non-refundable. A rescheduled booking may be rescheduled again only with the Astrologer’s agreement.
14. Astrologer cancellation, delay, or no-show
If the Astrologer declines the booking, cancels it, fails to attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, or fails to deliver within the agreed period without arranging a mutually accepted extension, the User may choose either a full refund or one rescheduled appointment with the same Astrologer.
If the same Astrologer cannot provide the service within a reasonable time, the User may accept an alternative Astrologer only with the User’s express consent. The Platform shall not substitute an Astrologer automatically.
15. Refunds and service complaints
Once the booked service has commenced or has been completed, the fee is ordinarily non-refundable. A full or proportionate refund may be granted where the User establishes that the service was not provided, was materially different from the service booked, was materially incomplete, or involved a demonstrable failure to provide the agreed service with reasonable care.
Disagreement with a prediction, interpretation, opinion, or future outcome is not by itself a service deficiency and does not create a right to a refund.
The Platform shall review the booking record and may seek information from both parties. It shall communicate its decision and, where a refund is approved, initiate it to the original payment method within 7 business days. The time taken by the bank or payment provider to credit the amount is outside the Platform’s control. Nothing in this clause limits a non-excludable statutory right.
16. Feedback, ratings, and reviews
The User may submit a rating, review, or other feedback based on the User’s actual experience. The Platform may display that feedback to assist other Users.
A review must not contain confidential personal information, impersonation, threats, abusive language, unlawful material, knowingly false statements, or irrelevant promotional content. The Platform may reject, edit only to remove personal data, temporarily hide, or remove content that violates these requirements. It shall not alter the substance of a genuine review merely because it is critical.
17. Prohibited consultations and conduct
The User must not request, and an Astrologer must not provide through the Platform, any service that:
1. claims to diagnose, cure, or replace professional treatment for a medical or mental-health condition;
2. encourages self-harm, suicide, violence, coercion, stalking, blackmail, discrimination, or another unlawful act;
3. seeks prenatal sex determination or sex selection, or any other service prohibited by law;
4. guarantees success in gambling, betting, trading, investment, litigation, examination, employment, marriage, fertility, or another outcome;
5. purports to identify a precise time or manner of death, or uses fear of death, illness, curse, supernatural harm, or misfortune to pressure a person into purchasing a remedy or further service; or
6. infringes another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
If a User appears to face an immediate risk of self-harm, suicide, violence, abuse, or a medical emergency, the Platform or Astrologer may stop the consultation and encourage the User to contact emergency services or a qualified professional. The Platform is not an emergency-response service.
18. Privacy and protection of personal information
The Platform may collect and process account details, contact information, birth details, questions, life-event information, booking records, payment status, consultation communications, and feedback only for stated lawful purposes connected with operating the Platform, providing the booked service, preventing misuse, resolving disputes, meeting legal obligations, and improving the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Platform shall provide the User with the notices, choices, and rights required by applicable data-protection law. It shall use reasonable security safeguards, restrict access to persons who need the information for a permitted purpose, and retain personal information only for the period reasonably necessary or legally required.
The Platform and Astrologer shall not publish a User’s name, birth details, chart, question, consultation, testimonial, or case study without the User’s separate and specific consent, except where disclosure is required by law. The User may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or deletion through the contact stated in the Privacy Policy, subject to lawful retention requirements.
19. Confidentiality and recording
The Astrologer must treat the User’s non-public consultation information as confidential and use it only to provide the booked service, maintain necessary records, or comply with law. The User must likewise respect non-public personal information disclosed by the Astrologer.
Neither party may audio-record, video-record, live-stream, or publicly distribute a private consultation without the other party’s prior consent. This does not prevent either party from preserving messages, transaction records, or other material reasonably needed to establish a complaint or legal claim.
20. Intellectual property and permitted use
The User may retain and use a consultation report or recording supplied as part of the booked service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unless the service description expressly states otherwise, the Astrologer retains rights in the Astrologer’s original methods, teaching material, templates, and general know-how.
The Platform’s name, logo, software, page design, text, and other proprietary content may not be copied, republished, sold, or commercially exploited without permission.
21. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the Platform is not responsible for the accuracy of an Astrologer’s prediction or opinion, or for a decision or action taken by the User in reliance on it. The Platform remains responsible for its own payment handling, privacy obligations, representations, and other duties imposed by law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Platform’s aggregate liability arising from a particular booking shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for that booking. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, breach of a non-excludable statutory duty, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
22. Service availability and events beyond reasonable control
The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted access. A party is not responsible for delay caused by an event beyond that party’s reasonable control, including a material telecommunications failure, power outage, natural disaster, government restriction, or widespread technical disruption.
The affected party must notify the other party where reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to resume or reschedule the service. If the service cannot be delivered within a reasonable time, the User may request a refund for the undelivered portion.
23. Grievance handling and dispute resolution
Complaints should first be sent to the Grievance Officer, Intellitwine Technologies Pvt. Ltd., at support@astrouser.com or +91 6301747244, or by post to Syam Sadan, Domalguda, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The User should state the booking reference, relevant dates, issue, and requested resolution.
The Platform shall assign a complaint or ticket reference, acknowledge a consumer complaint within 48 hours, and seek to redress it within one month or any shorter period required by applicable law. The parties should first seek a good-faith resolution and may use mediation by mutual agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction available under applicable law, courts of competent jurisdiction at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction.
24. Electronic communications and notices
The User agrees that booking confirmations, service messages, invoices, policy notices, and complaint communications may be sent to the email address, mobile number, account inbox, or other contact channel provided by the User.
A notice is treated as received when delivered without a failure message or made available in the User’s Platform account, whichever occurs first, unless law requires another method.
25. Changes to these Terms
The Platform may amend these Terms for future bookings to reflect changes in law, security, service design, or business operation. The revised version shall state its effective date.
The Terms in force when a booking is confirmed ordinarily govern that booking. A material change shall not retrospectively reduce an accrued right or alter a confirmed booking without the User’s consent, unless required by law.
26. Severability, waiver, and entire agreement
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it shall be limited or removed only as necessary; the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, the applicable service description, the booking confirmation, and the Privacy Policy form the agreement for the booked service. If they conflict, the booking confirmation and service description control only the specific commercial details of that booking; these Terms control all other matters, subject to applicable law.
